As a member of Gia Dinh Textile & Garment Corporation, Legamex was established in 1986. Formerly, under the name Leather Footwear and Garment Making Exporting Factory, the Company was managed by the People’s Committee of District 10, Ho Chi Minh City and specialized in manufacturing and processing leather goods and garments for export to the Soviet Union and some other countries.
In 2005, Legamex officially became a joint-stock company.

HISTORY AND
MILESTONES
Legamex was initially founded as a garment factory under the management of the People’s Committee of District 10. Over nearly 35 years of development, we are now one of Vietnam’s major textile and garment makers and exporters to foreign markets.
Legamex is an acronym for Leather, Footwear and Garment Making Exporting Factory. By this name, we affirm that Legamex is a global manufacturer and supplier of almost quality garments in the apparel industry.
Customer satisfaction is Legamex’s core value. Therefore, all of our production and business policies made throughout our three-decade history have been customer-centered.
